A bad night at work
Made good by the rain
Just off my back porch.

***

Vinka raindrops run vines
Green white against black night
While sky leaves patter earth.

***

Quiet night delirious sweat
Skeletons' bones dry wet
Only this rain dries them off.

***

Tabasco and oil grill red
Avocado moves the night
The moon is not there.

***

Rain. Rain. It is eighty yet
Tabasco night of habenero eve
I need more peppered rain.

***

A few haikus to answer you
You did not even ask for them
The night alone and the hard day.
